Phurba Geljen Sherpa connects all his passions under one thread — the mountains of Nepal and the stories they hold. Born in Lukla, the legendary gateway to Everest, his life has been shaped by peaks, trails, and the people who walk them.
Today, Phurba works as COO at Khumbu Excursion Pvt. Ltd. (khumbuexcursion.com), helping travellers discover the magic of trekking and climbing across Nepal. Since 2022, he has been actively guiding expeditions — from Annapurna Base Camp to the Everest region — with warmth, expertise, and an eye for the extraordinary.
Through Phurba Film Production, he crafts full short films from pre-production to final edit — handling every stage so your brand's story can truly shine. Remarkably, his award-winning short film Vishnu Shivam was written, shot, and edited entirely on a Redmi Note 11 phone — proof that vision matters more than equipment.
